News - Live Sculpture!

Billie has been selected as one of the 2,400 people to take part in Antony Gormley's 2009 One & Other Fourth Plinth at Trafalgar Square, London on;

Saturday 5th Sept at 9-10pm

She will be plastering a prepared armature to make a sculpture of her sister who has Down's syndrome to raise awareness of her Active Arts course run by Mencap.

With Billie’s artistic talent she can paint impressive and realistic portraits either from a photo or real life. She has entered the National Portrait Gallery BP awards for the last couple of years with 'Annabel' and 'Geoffrey Swindell'

Portraits make a great anniversary, wedding or birthday gift. The 'Grandad' portrait was a gift for a 70th birthday.

The paintings can take up to 3 months to complete. Billie uses oils and acrylic on canvas or board.
